A women-led civil organization based in the Valles Centrales region of Oaxaca, focused on supporting migrants and their families through assistance, search and guidance efforts, as well as analysis and research on the migration phenomenon.

Main activities include:
• Implementation of migrant tracing processes
• Strengthening women's abilities in the communities of origin
• Defending the rights of migrant day laborers and vulnerable groups
• Contributing to the reintegration of deported and/or repatriated migrants

Fomento Cultural y Educativo, AC

Fomento Cultural y Educativo, AC

A civil association founded in 1973, affiliated with the XHFCE Radio Huayacocotla radio station, that operates with the support and dedicated participation of hundreds of peasant families, generous contributions from domestic and international foundations, individual donors, and long-lasting partnerships with other organizations and institutions that share their dedication to the same mission.

Fomento Cultural y Educativo, AC consists of a multicultural team of lay people and Jesuits, committed to providing direct and effective service to the indigenous rural communities of the Sierra Madre Oriental and Mexican Huasteca regions. Their activities focus on organizational work in the field and radio broadcasting to help achieve a dignified life and future for the Nahua, Ñuhu (Otomí), Masapijni (Tepehua), Tének (Husateco) and Tutunakuj (Totonaco) peoples of the region.

CECIG is a dedicated civil organization with the expertise and skills necessary to transform communities toward a more just society. Through analysis, diagnosis and proposal development, CECIG focuses on:
• Collaborators addressing various phases of human mobility issues
• Collaborators working on socio-environmental conflict transformation issues in Mexico
• Social public policies

Through the implementation of various projects, it aims to contribute to sustainable development by strengthening the proposals and demands of groups and populations that are considered vulnerable, through studies, diagnoses and pertinent and viable tools for the construction of public spaces.

CECIG also participates in the design and implementation of international cooperation funds specifically aimed at local development, strengthening of public management in the different arenas of government and citizen participation at the local, national and international public levels.
