The interviews were conducted in two phases: the first, during 2022, in the Valles Centrales of Oaxaca and the Sierra Norte and Huasteca regions of Veracruz, where the agricultural laborers interviewed spoke about the living and working conditions in their destinations and the impacts of COVID-19 on their personal lives, and they identified the main states in the country for which they leave each migration season.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=””]The second phase took place at the end of 2024, in the La Monta\u00f1a region of Guerrero and in La Joya, municipality of Ayala, Morelos, where, in addition to the living conditions, people commented on different aspects of access to health services, both in their communities of origin and in the destination states during their migration.<\/p>\n
