It is supported by IREX in partnership with Fomento Cultural y Educativo, AC<\/strong>; Caminos Centro de Acompa\u00f1amiento a Migrantes, AC<\/strong>; and Centro de Estudios en Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional y Gesti\u00f3n P\u00fablica, AC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The project began in 2021, focusing on providing information about COVID-19 prevention and labor rights to domestic migrant agricultural laborers. During this phase, the Project Ambulantes team distributed personal protective equipment (PPE) and information on self-care during the pandemic.<\/p>\n

The initiative strengthened local organizations, particularly in the states of Oaxaca and Veracruz, by building stronger networks and enhancing the research capabilities of the partner organizations.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=””]Building on lessons from the first phase, a second stage was implemented, continuing to address the needs of agricultural laborers and their families, as well as strengthening their abilities from their communities of origin through workshops and information campaigns, including the distribution of printed and digital materials.<\/p>\n

Another objective is to improve services for migrant agricultural day laborers through training sessions and the creation and consolidation of strategic alliances.<\/p>\n
